JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – In cooperation with the Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth (CCPEG), the Friends of Chautauqua County Greenways (FCCG) will hold a public informational meeting on June 3 at 6:30 pm at Roger Tory Peterson Institute (RTPI) in Jamestown, NY. The address is 311 Curtis Street Ext, Jamestown, NY 14701.
This meeting will provide the public with updates on trail and waterway development and maintenance projects for each of the trail user groups, along with conservation efforts throughout Chautauqua County. This will be the first of two public meetings to be held throughout the year. A second public meeting will take place in the fall with a date to be determined. FCCG encourages the public to come prior to the meeting to walk at RTPI’s short trail network and around the grounds.
“We want to thank RTPI for being such generous hosts for our spring meeting. There are incredible recreation projects happening right now in Chautauqua County,” notes Jacob Bodway, Trail Coordinator for CCPEG. “Each trail user group has exciting updates, and this event will give everyone an opportunity to see the impact that our efforts are making throughout the county. We encourage people to come to RTPI and ask questions about any of our trail user groups recent and future projects.”
