Brownfield Redevelopment
Below are links to maps that depict the Brownfield Opportunity Areas located in Chautauqua County that have been approved by NYS Department of State. There are two located in the City of Jamestown and one in the City of Dunkirk. There are Redevelopment Tax Credits available for these designated areas.

Brownfield Redevelopment Tax Credits
Brownfield Redevelopment Tax Credits are available to help offset the cost of remediation and to encourage private-sector redevelopment of brownfield properties enrolled in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP).
The Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Bump-Up:
An increase of up to 5% of the allowable tangible property tax credit component of the Brownfield Redevelopment Tax Credit may be available for any project on a site enrolled in the BCP.
