The Third Thursday Concert series is an annual tradition in Downtown Jamestown, offering a free outdoor music concert that features top local and regional acts for the entire community. Since 2012, this monthly music feature has drawn residents and visitors alike to the Wintergarden Plaza (North Main Street, between Third and Fourth Streets) every third Thursday of the month, from May through September.
Attendees can view the performances by standing, sitting on benches, or bringing their own lawn chairs. The Wine Cellar, located directly next door to the plaza, also provides an outdoor patio, where patrons can enjoy a beverage while watching the performances. In case of rain, the events are held at nearby Jamestown Skate Products (207 Pine Street), which provides an indoor venue that helps to ensure the concerts will take place, rain or shine!
New to Third Thursday Jamestown in 2025 is the “Jumpstart to Third Thursday” pre-event supported by the CHQ Chamber. From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., downtown businesses will be offering special promotions, unique in-store experiences, sidewalk sales, and more.
For 2025, there will once again be a variety of regional and local music acts, along with a special theatrical performance from Madness Most Discreet, a Shakespearean theater troupe that was a big hit in 2024.
