Live CHQ Presents Community Buyout Night at Jamestown Tarp Skunks’ July 17 Home Game

Live CHQ – Chautauqua County’s talent attraction and retention initiative – will once again present a “Community Buyout Night” for the Jamestown Tarp Skunks on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The game will feature the visiting Niagara Ironbacks, with free admission, courtesy of Live CHQ and its two affiliate agencies, the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) and the Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth (CCPEG). The theme for this special night is “A Salute to Chautauqua County’s First Responders and Healthcare Professionals,” with a pre-game recognition planned to recognize all first responders and healthcare workers in attendance!

FREE ADMISSION is offered to all attendees, with plenty of pre-game festivities also planned – including:
  • “Touch a Truck” event featuring first responder vehicles
  • Meet & Greet with “Whiffy” the Tarp Skunks Mascot
  • On field recognition of all first responders and healthcare workers
  • “Join the Team” Registration Tables from various volunteer fire companies, public safety departments, and healthcare employers

Plus much more! Pre-game festivities begin at 5 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Free tickets are available at the ball park the night of the game. Volunteer firefighters can also pick up tickets at their designated station. Limited tickets are also available at the CCIDA offices in Jamestown and Dunkirk.
